I strive to help my clients break through the chains of addiction. I focus on relapse prevention strategies and plans that are effective and specific to each client. I work with brief cognitive behavioral therapies to inspire and encourage change that can be long lasting.
Katherine has been working in substance use counseling since 2007. She has a Master's Degree in Substance Abuse Counseling from Grand Canyon University. She is a Licensed Independent Substance Abuse Counselor and a Certified Alcohol and Drug Addiction Counselor. Katherine is also a certified trauma specialist and co-occurring certified gambling specialist. She has worked in a variety of settings including community health, corrections and private insurance providers. Katherine has worked every level of care from outpatient to inpatient.
My goal is to help my clients re-frame their values and beliefs to achieve better and stronger relationships, family connections and interpersonal lives. I specialize in confronting negative beliefs, thought patterns and help people to emotionally manage the destruction addiction can bring to their lives.
Dave has worked in the counseling field since 2008 in varied settings. Dave has a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of St. Mary's. He is a Licensed Associate Substance Abuse Counselor and is months from qualifying for his Independent license. Dave has worked in community health, corrections and with private insurance providers.
